कोरोना वायरस का संबंध वायरस के ऐसे परिवार से है, जिसके संक्रमण से जुकाम से लेकर सांस लेने में तकलीफ जैसी समस्या हो सकती है. इस वायरस को पहले कभी नहीं देखा गया है. इस वायरस का संक्रमण दिसंबर में चीन के वुहान में शुरू हुआ था. डब्लूएचओ के मुताबिक, बुखार, खांसी, सांस लेने में तकलीफ इसके लक्षण हैं. अब तक इस वायरस को फैलने से रोकने वाला कोई टीका नहीं बना है.

क्या हैं इस बीमारी के लक्षण (coronavirus symptoms) ?

इसके लक्षण फ्लू से मिलते-जुलते हैं. संक्रमण के फलस्वरूप बुखार, जुकाम, सांस लेने में तकलीफ, नाक बहना और गले में खराश जैसी समस्या उत्पन्न होती हैं. यह वायरस एक व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति में फैलता है. इसलिए इसे लेकर बहुत सावधानी बरती जा रही है. कुछ मामलों में कोरोना वायरस घातक भी हो सकता है. खास तौर पर अधिक उम्र के लोग और जिन्हें पहले से अस्थमा, डायबिटीज़ और हार्ट की बीमारी है.

क्या हैं इससे बचाव के उपाय?
स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्रालय ने कोरोना वायरस (Coronavirus) से बचने के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं. इनके मुताबिक, हाथों को साबुन से धोना चाहिए. अल्‍कोहल आधारित हैंड रब का इस्‍तेमाल भी किया जा सकता है. खांसते और छीकते समय नाक और मुंह रूमाल या टिश्‍यू पेपर से ढककर रखें. जिन व्‍यक्तियों में कोल्‍ड और फ्लू के लक्षण हों उनसे दूरी बनाकर रखें. अंडे और मांस के सेवन से बचें. जंगली जानवरों के संपर्क में आने से बचें 

इनसान के बाल से 900 गुना छोटा है कोरोना
क्या आप जानते हैं कि कोरोना वायरस यानी कि Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) बहुत सूक्ष्म लेकिन प्रभावी वायरस है. कोरोना वायरस मानव के बाल की तुलना में 900 गुना छोटा है. आकार में इस छोटे वायरस ने पूरी दुनिया को डरा दिया है. इसका खौफ आज दुनियाभर में दिख रहा है.

सुल्तान (2016 फ़िल्म)

सुल्तान भारतीय हिन्दी फ़िल्म है, जिसका निर्देशन अली अब्बास जाफ़र ने तथा इसका निर्माण आदित्य चोपड़ा ने किया है। इसमें मुख्य किरदार में सलमान खान और अनुष्का शर्मा हैं।

सुल्तान अली खान (सलमान खान) एक माध्यम आयु का पूर्व-पहलवान था, जो हरियाणा के एक छोटे से शहर में रहता था। आकाश ओबेरॉय (अमित साध) एक "प्रो टेक-डाउन" लीग का मालिक रहता है। वह इसे बहुत प्रसिद्ध करने के लिए एक भारतीय पहलवान को रखना चाहता है। इसके लिए वह सुल्तान से बात करता है, लेकिन सुल्तान साफ साफ मना कर देता है। आकाश अब उसके पहलवानी छोड़ने का कारण जानने के लिए उसके दोस्त गोविन्द (अनंत शर्मा) से बात करता है।

इसके बाद गोविन्द उसे आठ साल पहले की कहानी बताता है, जब सुल्तान को आफरा (अनुष्का शर्मा) से प्यार हो जाता है। लेकिन आफरा उसे मना कर देती है। सुल्तान इसके बाद कई महीने तक बहुत मेहनत करता है और पहलवानी के एक मुक़ाबले में हिस्सा लेता है। इस मुक़ाबले के जीतने के बाद जल्द ही आफरा और उसकी शादी हो जाती है और वो राष्ट्रीय स्तर का पहलवान बन जाता है।

कुछ समय बाद आफरा माँ बनने वाली होती है और पहलवानी छोड़ देती है। जिस दिन उसका बच्चा होने वाला होता है, उसी दिन वह एक और मुक़ाबले में जाता है और जब वापस आता है तो उसे पता चलता है कि उसका बच्चा खून की कमी के कारण मर गया है। उसका खून ओ+ होता है, जो सुल्तान का भी होता है। लेकिन उसके नहीं रहने के कारण कोई और खून देने वाला भी नहीं मिलता है। इस कारण आफरा उसे ही उस बच्चे के मरने का कारण सोचती है। इसके बाद सुल्तान अकेला वहाँ रक्त-बैंक बनाने के लिए पैसे जमा करने लगता है।

इस बात का पता चलते ही आकाश सुल्तान को बोलता है कि यदि वह लीग में हिस्सा ले लेता है तो उसे उसका सपना पूरा करने के लिए पूरे पैसे मिल जाएँगे। सुल्तान मान जाता है और उसके साथ दिल्ली चले जाता है। लेकिन तब तक उसका शरीर बेढंगा और मोटा रहता है। इस कारण वह उसे फतेह सिंह (रणदीप हुड्डा) के पास छोड़ देता है, जहाँ वह कुछ सप्ताह के लिए अभ्यास करता है। पूरी तरह सेहतमंद होने के बाद पहले ही मुक़ाबले में सुल्तान जीत जाता है। लेकिन सेमी-फाइनल में उसे बहुत बुरी तरह चोट लग जाती है और वह अस्पताल में भर्ती हो जाता है। डॉक्टर आकाश को कहते हैं कि जब तक वह पूरी तरह ठीक नहीं हो जाता, उसे लड़ाई नहीं करनी चाहिए। इसके बाद आफरा अस्पताल आ जाती है और उसे इस काम को पूरा करने के लिए बोलती है। सुल्तान दर्द के बाद भी इस प्रतियोगिता को जीत जाता है और सुल्तान और आफरा फिर से एक हो जाते हैं। इसके बाद सुल्तान अपने इनाम के पैसों से एक ब्लड-बैंक बनाता है। इसके कुछ वर्षों के बाद आफरा एक बच्ची को जन्म देती है।

लापता AM-32 विमान के मिले सुराग

सरकार ने कहा है कि चार दिन पहले 29 लोगों के साथ लापता हुए ए एन-32 विमान के सिलसिले में चार-पांच मामूली सुराग मिले हैं।

हालांकि अभी तक कोई स्‍पष्‍ट जानकारी उपलब्‍ध नहीं हुई है। राज्‍यसभा में प्रश्‍नकाल के दौरान रक्षा मंत्री मनोहर पर्रिकर ने जोर देकर कहा कि सरकार ने लापता विमान का पता लगाने के सिलसिले में कोई कोर कसर नहीं छोड़ी है।  इस उद्देश्‍य के लिए उपग्रह इमेजरी का इस्‍तेमाल किया गया और तीस पोत तथा पनडुब्बियां लगा दी गई हैं।

पूर्व राष्ट्रपति एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम की पुण्यतिथि आज आज भारत रत्न ए पी जे अब्दुल कलाम की पुन्यतिथि है। एक महान वैज्ञानिक और मिसाईल मैन के रुप में उन्होने देश को परमाणु शक्ति बनाया। एक शिक्षक के तौर पर उन्होने युवाओ का मार्गदर्शन किया देश को 2020 का विज़न दिया। कृतज्ञ राष्ट्र उन्हे नमन करता है।

एक नेक शख्सियत, एक महान वैज्ञानिक और एक श्रेष्ठ पथपदर्शक भारत रत्न अबुल पाकिर जैनुलाबदीन अब्दुल कलाम का जन्म 15 अक्टूबर 1931 को रामेश्वरम के धनुषकोडी गाँव के एक मध्यमवर्ग परिवार में हुआ। रामेश्वरम के पंचायत प्राथमिक विद्यालय में उनका प्ररंभिक शिक्षा शुरु हुआ। जीवन आभावों के बीच गुजरा। पढ़ाई जारी रखने के लिए अख़बार बेचना पड़ा। 1958 में मद्रास इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलजी से अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान में स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की, यहां से उनकी विज्ञान की यात्रा शुरु हुई। हावरक्राफ्ट परियोजना पर काम करने के लिये भारतीय रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संस्थान में प्रवेश मिला। 1962 में वे भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन में आये जहाँ उन्होंने सफलतापूर्वक कई उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण परियोजनाओं में अपनी भूमिका निभाई। परियोजना निदेशक के रूप में भारत के पहले स्वदेशी उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान एसएलवी 3 के निर्माण में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। 1962 में वे भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन से जुड़े। डॉक्टर अब्दुल कलाम को भारत का पहला स्वदेशी उपग्रह प्रक्षेपास्त्र बनाने का श्रेय हासिल है। भारत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष क्लब का सदस्य बनने का गौरव हासिल हुआ। इसरो लॉन्च व्हीकल प्रोग्राम को परवान चढ़ाने की कामयाबी हासिल हुई। डॉक्टर कलाम ने स्वदेशी लक्ष्य भेदी नियंत्रित प्रक्षेपास्त्र को डिजाइन किया। देश को अग्नि और पृथ्वी जैसे प्रक्षेपास्त्रों से लैस किया। कलाम के सफल नेतृत्व में ही भारत दुनिया की परमाणु शक्तियों की कतार में आखड़ा हुआ। देशवासियों ने उन्हें नाम दिया मिसाइल मैन। एक दार्शनिक के रुप में भारत को 2020 तक विकास के पथ रास्ता दिखाया। वे देश के ग्यारहवें निर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित हुए। इसके बाद वह शिक्षा, लेखन और सार्वजनिक सेवा के अपने नागरिक जीवन में लौट आए। राष्ट्र सेवा के लिए उन्हें देश के सबसे बड़े नागरिक सम्मान भारत रत्न से नवाजा गया। इससे पहले 1990 पद्म विभूषण और 1981 पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया गया। 40 से अधिक विश्वविद्यालयों और संस्थानों से डॉक्टरेट की मानद उपाधि प्राप्त हुई। 27 जुलाई 2015 की शाम अब्दुल कलाम भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान शिलोंग में व्याख्यान दे रहे थे इस बीच उन्हें दिल का दौरा पड़ा और वे बेहोश हो कर गिर पड़े। लगभग 6:30 बजे गंभीर हालत में इन्हें बेथानी अस्पताल ले जाया गया और दो घंटे के बाद उनके देहांत की पुष्टि कर दी गई। कलाम चिरनिद्रा में लीन हो गये। जीवन के संघर्षों के बीच कामयाबी सबक और अभावों में उम्मीदों की किरण थे कलाम एक कर्म योगी और सच्चे देश भक्त को कृत्ज्ञय राष्ट्र नमन करता है।

भारत की अंतरिक्ष के क्षेत्र में रिकॉर्ड उड़ान

अंतरिक्ष में नया इतिहास रचते हुए भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन यानी इसरो ने बुधवार को एक साथ 20 उपग्रहों का सफल प्रक्षेपण किया। इन उपग्रहों में 17 विदेशी उपग्रह हैं, जिन्हें इसरो ने अपने अग्रणी रॉकेट PSLV-C34 से प्रक्षेपित किया। इस कदम से दुनिया में भारतीय वैज्ञानिकों ने अपना लोहा एक बार फिर मनवाया है।

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संस्थान ने श्रीहरिकोटा से कार्टोसेट-दो मिशन के तहत पहली बार रिकॉर्ड बीस उपग्रहों का प्रक्षेपण किया। इसरो के इतिहास में ये पहला मौका है, जब एक साथ इतने उपग्रहों को प्रक्षेपित किया गया। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारतीय अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिकों को इस सफलता के लिए बधाई दी है। भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन ने बुधवार को अग्रणी रॉकेट PSLV-C34 से 17 विदेशी उपग्रह सहित रिकॉर्ड 20 उपग्रहों का ऐतिहासिक प्रक्षेपण किया। इसरो का रिकॉर्ड उपग्रहों को भेजने का ये अभियान सफल रहा। बहुपयोगी प्रक्षेपण यान भारत के कार्टोसेट-दो श्रृंखला के उपग्रह को प्राथमिक उपग्रह के तौर पर प्रक्षेपित किया गया और इसके अलावा 19 अन्य सूक्ष्म और नैनो उपग्रहों को भी अंतरिक्ष में प्रक्षेपित किया। ये उपग्रह बुधवार सुबह नौ बजकर 26 मिनट पर श्रीहरिकोटा स्थित सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र के दूसरे प्रक्षेपण स्थल से छोड़े गए। तीन सौ बीस टन वजन वाले PSLV के जरिए कनाडा, इंडोनेशिया, जर्मनी और अमेरिका जैसे देशों के सत्रह छोटे उपग्रहों को सफलतापूर्वक प्रक्षेपित किया गया। इसरो ने एक साथ ही 20 उपग्रह छोड़कर अपने ही रिकॉर्ड को तोड़ दिया है। इसरो ने इससे पहले 2008 में दस उपग्रहों को एक साथ छोड़ा था। प्रक्षेपित किए गए कार्टोसैट-2 उपग्रह के जरिए पृथ्वी की हाई रेजोल्यूशन तस्वीरें ली जाएंगी ताकि धरती पर होने वाले हर छोटे से छोटे बदलाव की जानकारी ली जा सकेगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सफल प्रक्षेपण के लिए इसरो के वैज्ञानिकों को बधाई दी। इसरो अब तक लगभग बीस देशों के 57 उपग्रहों को अंतरिक्ष में प्रक्षेपित कर चुका है। 2016 से 2017 तक इसरो का लक्ष्य 25 से ज्यादा उपग्रहों को अंतरिक्ष में भेजना है।

Brexit wins as Britain votes to leave European Union in historic referendum
United Kingdom has voted by 52 per cent to 48 per cent to leave the European Union after 43 years in an historic referendum, a BBC forecast suggests. 

The broadcaster said that London and Scotland voted strongly to stay in the Union but the remain vote has been undermined by poor results in the north of England. 

Voters in Wales and the English shires have backed Britain exit from the EU in large numbers.

Meanwhile, the pound fell to its lowest level against the dollar since 1985 as the markets reacted to the results.

Referendum turnout was higher than at last year's general election. Labour's Shadow chancellor John McDonnell said the Bank of England may have to intervene to shore up the pound, which lost 3% within moments of the first result showing a strong result for Leave in Sunderland and fell as much as 6.5% against the euro. 

UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage - who has campaigned for the past 20 years for Britain to leave the EU - told supporters that this will be a victory for ordinary people, for decent people.

Britain's 27 EU partners are anxiously watching the vote, fearing the departure of the bloc's second biggest economy would weaken Europe's unity and influence as it grapples with the Greek financial crisis and a massive influx of refugees.

The modern Mother's Day has been assimilated into Indian culture, and it is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of May.
In India, mothers are considered as god to their children. Indians do not celebrate the occasion as a religious one, but do their best to thank their mothers for care and love.

Traditionally, mothers are given great importance in Indian culture. The day is celebrated mostly in urban centers, by performing special acts to honor them and their contribution to the family. It is called मातृ दिनम् (matṛ dinam) (from Sanskrit). As per Hindu tradition, mothers are paid homage to on Saraswati pooja day during Devi Navratri, with "Maatri Pooja" (worship of mother).

• 1925: Sarojini Naidu became the first Indian born female president of the Indian National Congress.
• 1927: The All India Women's Conference was founded.
• 1944: Asima Chatterjee became the first Indian woman to be conferred the Doctorate of Science by an Indian university.
• 1947: On 15 August 1947, following independence, Sarojini Naidu became the governor of the United Provinces, and in the process became India's first woman governor.
• 1951: Prem Mathur of the Deccan Airways becomes the first Indian woman commercial pilot.
• 1953: Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit became the first woman (and first Indian) president of the United Nations General Assembly

• 1979: Mother Teresa wins the Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the first Indian female citizen to do so.
• 1984: On 23 May, Bachendri Pal became the first Indian woman to climb Mount Everest.
• 1989: Justice M. Fathima Beevi becomes the first woman judge of the Supreme Court of India.^[46]
• 1997: Kalpana Chawla becomes the first India-born woman to go into space.^[47]
• 1992: Priya Jhingan becomes the first lady cadet to join the Indian Army (later commissioned on 6 March 1993)^[48]
• 1994: Harita Kaur Deol becomes the first Indian woman pilot in the Indian Air Force (IAF), on a solo flight.
• 2000: Karnam Malleswari became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal (bronze medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics at Sydney).
• 2002: Lakshmi Sahgal became the first Indian woman to run for the post of President of India.

गजब की है वो!

महिला दिवस पर स्त्री की जो मूर्ति सामने आती है, वह है- प्रेम, स्नेह व मातृत्व के साथ ही शक्तिसंपन्न स्त्री की मूर्ति। यह दिन यह गिनने का भी है कि आखिर हमने मील के कितने पत्थर पार कर लिए। सचमुच गौरव और आत्मविश्वास से कलेजा तर हो जाता है उन पाई हुई पायदानों के लिए और उन आत्मबल से भरी स्त्रियों के लिए जो सचमुच गजब की हैं। इक्कीसवीं सदी की स्त्री ने स्वयं की शक्ति को पहचान लिया है। उसने काफी हद तक अपने अधिकारों के लिए लड़ना सीख लिया है। आज स्त्रियों ने सिद्ध किया है कि वे एक-दूसरे की दुश्मन नहीं, सहयोगी हैं। स्त्री सशक्त है व उसकी शक्ति की अभिव्यक्ति इस प्रकार देखने को मिल रही है। बेटियों को जन्म दे गौरवान्वित होती हैं माँ  स्त्री भ्रूण हत्या के घिनौने किस्से लाख सुनने को मिले, समाज में बेटियों के जन्म पर गौरवान्वित होतीं, प्रसन्न होतीं माँएँ भी देखने को मिलती हैं। कई परिवार अपने आसपास मिल जाएँगे जिनकी इकलौती बेटियाँ हैं या दोनों बेटियाँ हैं। वे माँ-बाप की लाड़ली हैं। वे माता-पिता की केयर भी करती हैं।    इक्कीसवीं सदी की स्त्री ने स्वयं की शक्ति को पहचान लिया है। उसने काफी हद तक अपने अधिकारों के लिए लड़ना सीख लिया है। आज स्त्रियों ने सिद्ध किया है कि वे एक-दूसरे की दुश्मन नहीं, सहयोगी हैं। स्त्री सशक्त है व उसकी शक्ति की अभिव्यक्ति इस प्रकार देखने को       गोद ली जाती हैं बेटियाँ  ऐसे परिवार भी दिखाई देते हैं जिन्होंने बेटियाँ गोद ली हैं व बड़े लाड़-प्यार से इसका पालन-पोषण कर रहे हैं। बेटियों को उच्च शिक्षा  आज लगभग हर सुसंस्कृत व सुशिक्षित परिवार में बेटियों को भी ऊँची से ऊँची शिक्षा ऋण लेकर भी दिलवाई जा रही है। शादी से पूर्व शिक्षा  तथाकथित रूढ़िवादी परिवारों में भी बेटियों की शादी से पूर्व उन्हें शिक्षित करने, आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की मानसिकता विकसित हुई है। बेटी के घर से अपनत्व  पुरानी बेबुनियाद परंपराएँ तोड़ लोग बेटी के घर जाकर रहते हैं व उसके द्वारा दिए गए उपहार बड़े प्रेम व गर्व से स्वीकार करते हैं। संपत्ति में अधिकार  बेटियों को कानून ने तो संपत्ति में अधिकार दे ही दिया है, पर पिता भी अपनी बेटियों को संपत्ति में अधिकार सस्नेह देने लगे हैं। समझदार भाई भी इसे सहर्ष स्वीकारते हैं। वर चुनने की स्वतंत्रता  वर चुनने में अब अनिवार्य रूप से बेटी की पसंद पूछी जाती है। आत्मबल में वृद्धि  महानगरों में उच्च शिक्षित युवतियों का छोटे-बड़े शहरों व गाँवों से आकर रहना, नौकरी करना, अपनी पहचान बनाना द्योतक है कि लड़कियों के आत्मविश्वास में गजब का इजाफा हुआ है। अपनी अस्मिता को बनाए रखते हुए वे बड़े आराम से देश तो क्या, विदेश में भी बड़ी आसानी से रहती हैं, पढ़ती हैं या नौकरी करती हैं। अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता  आत्मविश्वास के साथ ही युवतियों ने अपनी सही बात सही तरीके से कहना सीख लिया है। घर के संरक्षित कवच से बाहर आ संघर्ष करते-करते उन्होंने अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता स्वयं हासिल कर ली है। अन्याय का विरोध  स्त्री शक्ति का एहसास इस बात से भी होता है कि दो या तीन दशक पुरानी युवतियों की तुलना में आज की अधिक युवतियाँ अन्याय का विरोध करती हैं। विरोध करने पर हो सकने वाले नुकसान या परिणामों से भी वे भयभीत नहीं होतीं। पति की सच्ची दोस्त  आज की नारी की सफलता इसी से स्वयंसिद्ध है कि वह सही अर्थों में सखी-सहधर्मिणी बन चुकी है। वह पति की हर परेशानी बाँटने में सक्षम है। वह केवल पत्नी बन उसके द्वारा प्रदत्त सुख-सुविधाओं का लाभ नहीं उठाती बल्कि हर सुख-सुविधा जुटाने में बराबर की जिम्मेदारी लेती है, संघर्ष करती है। सफल माँ  शिक्षित व कामकाजी होने के साथ ही वह बच्चों के प्रति अधिक जागरूक व संवेदनशील हो गई है। हर क्षेत्र का ज्ञान होने से वह बच्चों की परवरिश अच्छे तरीके से करती है व उनके निर्णयों में भागीदार बनती है। बच्चे भी अपनी माँ की उपलब्धियों पर गर्व करते हैं। मायके-ससुराल के बीच सेतु  सही अर्थों में आज नारी मायके व ससुराल के दो परिवारों के बीच सेतु बन दोनों परिवारों की गरिमा बनाए रखना सीख चुकी है। ससुराल के दायित्वों को निभाते हुए भी वह मायके के कर्तव्यों को भी सर्वोपरि मान पूर्ण करती है सफल प्रबंधक  घर के कुशल प्रबंधन की जन्मजात प्रतिभा के साथ हर कामकाजी स्त्री कार्यक्षेत्र में भी अपनी भूमिका को पूर्ण ईमानदारी व मेहनत से निभाती देखी जा रही है। बड़े से बड़े ओहदे पर वे बड़ी सफलता से कार्य कर अपना लोहा मनवा रही है। एक-दूसरे की सहयोगी  आज अधिकांश परिवारों में सास-बहू, ननद-भौजाई, देवरानी-जेठानी के बीच गजब का स्नेह, सौहार्द व सहयोगात्मक बर्ताव देखने को मिलता है। स्त्री ने अपने पर बरसों से लगाए जा रहे इस लाँछन को मिटा दिया है कि 'स्त्री ही स्त्री की दुश्मन होती है'।  सासों ने बहुओं को ममता-स्नेह देना प्रारंभ किया है तो बहुएँ भी सास को मानती हैं। अब सास-बहू सीरियलों में ज्यादा लड़ती हैं, असल में कम। इस तरह के सुखद परिवर्तन स्त्री शक्ति की सकारात्मक अभिव्यक्ति हैं।
